The Montespirits project is a modern craft (handicraft) production of strong alcohol in Montenegro.
The craft process represents the maximum use of manual labor and minimal automation of production. In the case of alcohol, this allows you to use the taste of the master in selection, produce various types of drinks in small batches, the starting ingredients are close to organic: distillate instead of rectified, herbs and spices instead of essences. The downside: flavors and aromas cannot be replicated to the degree of precision that is available through mass production. Unlike “alcohol for everyone,” craft beer promises special, individual experiences – of a different, often higher class.
Also among the goals of Montespirits is the creation of “drink as is” drinks, that is, the most balanced taste, when not only the intoxication is pleasant, but also the drinking itself.
Since we are all hedonists, our search in the world of craft drinks is quality. The drink should be enjoyable before, during, and after. Therefore, our main goal is to find a certain balance of taste, aroma and strength.

Vacuum
Vacuum distillation is a method of separating a mixture of liquid substances based on the different boiling points of the components of the mixture in a vacuum. In this case, vacuum means rarefaction. In a vacuum, substances boil at a much lower temperature, for example, water at a vacuum of 0.15 atmospheric column boils at a temperature of 52 degrees Celsius.
This technology reduces the number of unwanted compounds that arise during distillation. And, on the contrary, it allows you to preserve substances that decompose at high temperatures.
Maceration
Maceration in this case is the infusion of plant materials in alcohol in the production of tinctures and some other strong alcoholic drinks.

Anyone can order us to make a drink to their taste (subject to current technical limitations). Raw materials, strength, sweetness, cost… It happens like this. We discuss the technology and the minimum volume of the batch you buy. We then prepare the ingredients and have several tasting sessions together. We decide how it will be registered and voila.
